Recipe by Chef Yasmin Abu Hassan
Ingredients:
Cream layer ingredients:
Salted Caramel ingredients:
Chocolate syrup ingredients (optional):
1. Put aside your cup that you want this recipe to be served with. To start with the salted caramel, place a medium sized pan on a medium heat and put the sugar and water then wait till the sugar is completely melted by stirring it with a spatula every 2-3 minutes, stop stirring when it starts boiling and wait for it to caramelize. When the caramel reaches the brown-golden color, remove from heat and add the butter and cream and whisk instantly then bring it back to boil, stir, add salt, stir again, let it boil for less than a minute then set aside.
2. Blend the roasted peanuts with Quadratinis in the blender (Heat the roasted peanuts on a skillet for extra flavor – optional) and set aside. To start with the cream layer, whip the whipping cream with a hand electronic mixture and put aside when done, now mix together the condensed milk, the peanut butter and the vanilla, combine together the peanut butter mixture with the whipped cream to create the final cream layer.
3. For the chocolate syrup, put together in a bowl the dark chocolate and cooking cream and heat it in the microwave for 1 minute (stir after the first 30 seconds to avoid burning the chocolate). Prepare three piping bags for the chocolate syrup, salted caramel and peanut butter cream mixture.
4. Bring the serving cup and start the base with the cream mixture, blended peanuts and Quadratini mixture, another cream layer, small amount of the Quadratini mixture, a bit of the salted caramel, a bit of the chocolate syrup, two Quadratinis on top for decoration, refrigerate for a minimum of 1 hour and now it’s ready to be served!
