We take the first steps towards a natural taste experience when we develop our recipes. The first wafer recipe comes from the family itself. A hundred years ago, Alfons Loacker made the first “Bozner Schnitten” according to an old Austrian tradition of baking. The process of developing recipes is now more complex, but the criteria are still the same. Natural high-quality raw materials and ingredients, no added flavorings, a balanced composition and best eating quality are the foundation for every recipe. But our products should not only taste good, they must also be wholesome. That’s why we don’t use ingredients that can negatively affect the health of consumers, such as genetically modified raw materials.
Most of our Loacker products are produced in our production facilities in Auna di Sotto/Unterinn and Heinfels. Both of them are nestled in the heart of the Alps in the midst of pristine nature - where the water is fresh and the air is pure. And no matter where in the world you find Loacker products on the shelves, there is no difference in quality. We really value the careful handling of raw materials and ingredients during production. We aim to emphasize the special characteristics of each ingredient and preserve their quality. But careful processing also helps to minimize rejects and thus to save resources. Short lead times further guarantee that the products are always packed and shipped fresh and without loss of quality.

Falling in love with hazelnuts is only natural, and even more so if they're Italian. Here at Loacker, we know we need to choose Italian hazelnuts, the ones with the most generous aroma.
What makes many of our creams absolutely irresistible is the cocoa, a precious ingredient that we select and process with passion.
Its harmonious bouquet and alluring taste are given by the care with which the seeds are selected.
The milk chocolate refined with fine flavor cocoa from Ecuador is gently spiced and nutty, with a warm hazelnut color and caramel fragrance.

It is with good reason that peanut butter is viewed as an excellent snack and a feature of American cuisine. In this treat, you will find Loacker's take on this delicacy. Peanut butter is the result of a long and careful process that includes selecting the fruits, removing the outer layer, blanching, roasting and grinding them.
Being truly discerning is an important art. Our precious wholemeal flour is the result of an accurate selection of only the finest grains of spelt, wheat and oats. Once they have been chosen, the whole grains are delicately ground in a special mill up in the mountains in South Tyrol, close to Loacker, in a pure and pristine environment.
