Pursuant to Legislative Decree no. 196 of 30 June 2003, as amended (hereinafter, "Privacy Code") and Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (hereinafter, "GDPR"), A. Loacker Spa/AG (VAT no. 00187320213), with registered office in via Gasterer Weg 3, 39054 Auna di Sotto/Unterinn, Italy, email info@loacker.com (hereinafter, the "Data Controller") would like to inform you that, if you subscribe to the newsletter (hereinafter, the "Newsletter"), your personal data will be processed to update you on company news and initiatives via email. The legal basis for the processing is the service you have requested from the Data Controller (pursuant to Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). In case of your explicit, free, and specific consent, your personal data will also be processed for sending advertising and promotional material (hereinafter, the "Marketing"). The legal basis for the processing in this case is your consent (pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). If you do not provide optional Marketing consent, your subscription to the Newsletter may still be finalized but will not allow us to send you promotions and exclusive discounts.
The Newsletter subscription procedure includes a 'double opt-in' validation mechanism that requires voluntary confirmation by replying to an email containing an activation link. Without such confirmation, the data will be automatically deleted from the information systems after 30 days. Once the subscription is made, the data required to send the Newsletter will be processed until the data subject exercises his/her right to unsubscribe from the service.
The data you provide will be processed mainly in paper form and/or by IT means under the authority of the Data Controller, by people specifically authorized and trained to process them (pursuant to Art. 2-quaterdecies of the Privacy Code and Articles 28 and 29 GDPR). Please note that appropriate security measures are observed, also in accordance with Articles 5 and 32 GDPR, to prevent data loss, illicit or incorrect use and unauthorized access.
The data may be communicated, within the EU, in full compliance with the provisions of the Privacy Code and the GDPR, to the following parties: public authorities, where required by law or at their request; to external companies that the Data Controller uses to carry out activities related, instrumental or consequent to the execution of the Newsletter. The updated list of designated Data Processors may be provided to the data subject upon request.
